VBS MEETING: There will be a meeting next Sunday, April 30^th immediately after the morning service for anyone who would be interested in working in our 2017 Vacation Bible School. This year VBS will be in the evenings from June 25^th through June 29^th. Please be in prayer about getting involved with this very important outreach event to share the gospel with the children in our community.

FAN CLUB MEETINGS: The Fan Club will begin meeting again on the 1^st Wednesday of each month. May’s meeting will be on the 3^rd and we will meet for lunch at TGI Fridays.

OCC COLLECTIONS: For the month of April, we are collecting bandanas, band-aids, and small books for Operation Christmas Child boxes. Please place all donations in the blue tub in the foyer.

ANNIE ARMSTRONG: Our church goal this year for Annie Armstrong is $1000.00. We will be collecting this offering until the end of May. Please be in prayer and give as God leads.

In March we will be collecting Ivory soap and face towels for OCC. The donations can be placed in the blue tub in the foyer.

BUILDING AND GROUNDS FUND DRIVE: The Building and Grounds Committee is beginning a fund drive to purchase new chairs for the Fellowship Hall. Our goal is to purchase 100 new chairs, at a total cost of $2,250 (including shipping and taxes). Members may wish to donate any amount or donate the purchase price of a chair or chairs ($17.95/each). Any donations will need to be designated to “Fellowship Hall Chairs”.

MISSION FOCUS WEEKEND: Make plans to join us March 17^th – 19^th for three days of mission focused activities. On Friday night, March 17^th at 6:30pm we will watch a very powerful film titled The Insanity of God that chronicles the lives of persecuted Christians around the world. We will also have a special prayer time after the movie to pray for the persecuted church. Then on Saturday we will participate in the Eye Glass Mission Clinic in Memphis. Finally, on Sunday morning we will have as a guest speaker, Kimberly Parker from Grenada, MS, who will be sharing about her experiences in The World Race, which is a mission journey that travels to 11 countries over an 11 month period. You don’t want to miss any of these events so make plans to be at each one!
